Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, who is an actor, director, producer, educator, playwright and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna was a part of numerous commercials as a young child.
