Summer Glau

 Her first TV role was as a guest-star on the episode in 2002 of Angel. She was the target of director Joss Whedon who subsequently cast her in his critically acclaimed , yet short-lived TV show Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised for the feature film sequel to the show Serenity. Glau has previously attempted to audition for the part of an Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssaenrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was unable to beat actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau was in the episode "Love Conquers Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She played Shelly who was a high school senior, in the episode Sleepover. She was also featured on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " Season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl played by Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner who was a paranoid schizophrenic returning character during the season two premiere of The 4400, and became an ongoing character in season three and beyond. Mammoth was her horror-comedy role. Glau was also a part of ABC Family TV's film The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The series premiered on January 13, 2008. The seventh episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" included a number of scenes in which Glau playing the character of Cameron, dances in ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young who was Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau has also appeared as a guest in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, a CBS comedy that focuses on situations.
